BRYAN COUNTY HEAD START

Early childhood education program. SERVICES PROVIDED Early childhood education for preschool aged children (typically ages 3–5). School readiness curriculum focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Health screenings (vision, hearing, developmental). Nutritious meals and snacks. Family engagement and parent involvement opportunities. Disability services and individualized support plans. Referrals to community resources. Transportation services (when available). Comprehensive child development support in partnership with families.

GEORGIA YOUTH CHALLENGE PROGRAM

Residential program.

SERVICES PROVIDED
A voluntary, tuition-free, residential program for Georgia residents ages 16-18. Offers a rigorous program focused on self-discipline, structure, education, and training to increase skills and promote lifestyle changes. Programs take place at Fort Stewart or Fort Gordon. Offers post- residential mentorship for graduates to support career, education, or military placement.

HELEN’S HAVEN CHILDREN’S ADVOCACY CENTER

Child abuse victim service and human trafficking victim assistance organization.

SERVICES PROVIDED
No cost trauma-informed victim services available including forensic interviews, victim advocacy and support, assessments, evidence-based mental health services for child/youth victims of abuse and their non-offending family members, evidence-based parent education, child and adolescent educational groups, and community referrals. Helen’s Haven CAC also provides child abuse prevention and education awareness training, workshops, and community outreach. Youth/Adolescent Services. Family Services. Social Services.
